Our Family has been Barbecuing since 1749.

Back in 1749, our ancestor Capitan Blas Maria De La Garza Falcon was sent on a mission to settle new land for King Carlos III of Spain. He proclaimed the gulf plains from the Nueces River to Tampico to be the northern province of new Spain. Capitan Falcon was given a private land grant that covered areas (over 2 million acres) from what is now known as Kingsville, Texas (present day site of the King Ranch) to the Rio Grande. He brought his family, servants, Longhorn and Santa Gertrudis cattle. He introduced cattle drives, corrals and branding, thus establishing the famous South Texas Ranching Industry that brought respect and unity among ranch owners.

He used to do large cookouts for his family, friends and cowhands. Now we want to follow this tradition of bringing family, friends, cowboys and cowgirls to our big cookout everyday. We are offering our family's original Texas style recipes with the finest of ingredients. Welcome and help us celebrate the flavor and richness that is the "Texas Spirit".
